Longtime supporter, entrepreneur and philanthropist to be honored for over 17 years of hands-on commitment to families facing a child’s life-threatening illness

No family should have to face a child’s serious illness alone. I’m grateful to be part of a community that helps give families more stability, hope & room to focus on what matters most, their children”

— Quy “Q” Nguyen, Founder and CEO of Allyance Communications

IRVINE, CA, UNITED STATES, October 6, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — For more than 17 years, entrepreneur and philanthropist Quy “Q” Nguyen has stood alongside Orange County nonprofit Miracles for Kids and the families it serves as a donor, volunteer, advocate and hands-on supporter of the Miracles community. On Saturday, October 17, 2026, Miracles for Kids will recognize that enduring commitment by honoring Nguyen as its 2026 Miracle Maker at the 2026 Night of Miracles Gala: The Miracle of Tomorrow, presented by Sequel Brands, at Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club.

Nguyen’s connection with Miracles for Kids deepened after meeting Co-Founder and CEO Autumn Strier in 2009 and learning more about the nonprofit’s mission. He was deeply moved by the organization’s commitment to helping families caring for critically-ill children. In 2010, he wanted to create a lasting impact and help create a turkey delivery program through the charity’s Basket of Miracles Boost Program that provides basic needs and household essentials to families in need.

“Q embodies what it means to be a Miracle Maker because he doesn’t simply support our mission from a distance, he shows up,” said Strier. “For more than 17 years, he has given his time, resources and heart while inspiring others to do the same. His commitment reminds the families we serve that there is an entire community standing beside them. We are honored to recognize the lasting impact he continues to make.”

As Founder and CEO of OC-based Allyance Communications, Nguyen led by example, bringing together employees, friends, and colleagues to help provide meals and support to many Miracles for Kids families during the holiday season. He began engaging his company’s philanthropic efforts through Allyance Cares to further extend his impact. What began as hands-on volunteer service grew into a sustained commitment as a donor, sponsor, advocate and community leader.

Nguyen’s leadership expanded further as Vice Chairman of GTIA, where he helped facilitate annual grants through the GTIA Foundation, creating another avenue of support for Miracles for Kids. For more than 25 years, Nguyen has led Allyance Communications, advising Fortune 500 companies on AI, data center, connectivity and emerging technology solutions.

That support is continuing through the launch of the Miracles for Kids Pillars Program. With the shared belief that every child deserves the chance to learn, dream and build a brighter future, the GTIA Foundation and Nguyen’s private charitable foundation, Extraordinary Heroes, are helping fund the purchase of 400 laptops for families across California, along with access to online training and certification programs in AI and technology. The initiative aims to close gaps in educational access, build confidence and help children see new possibilities for their futures.

“I’m deeply humbled to be named the 2026 Miracle Maker,” said Nguyen. “What continues to move me is the strength of the families and the generosity of people who show up for them. No family should have to face a child’s serious illness alone. I’m grateful to be part of a community that helps turn compassion into real support, giving families more stability, hope, and room to focus on what matters most – their children.”

Opening the 2026 Night of Miracles Gala, where Nguyen will be honored, is 22-year-old vocalist Carolina Rial who competed on The Voice as a member of John Legend’s team and has toured with Andrea Bocelli. GRAMMY award-winning multiplatinum singer, songwriter Ashanti will headline the evening with a special 30-minute performance for nearly 500 guests, bringing the celebration to a high-energy close with some of her biggest hits.

Proceeds from the Night of Miracles Gala support Miracles for Kids core programs providing financial assistance, housing, basic necessities, wellness support and stability to families of critically-ill children. For families facing the unimaginable today, the support they receive now can help change what tomorrow looks like. To see how you can make a difference, visit https://miraclesforkids.org/.
