SAN ANTONIO, Oct. 19, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Strong winds, heavy currents, and extended Spot-Lock use can increase trolling motor power consumption, making battery runtime a key concern for anglers. Bulky battery setups, limited onboard space, and cold-weather charging restrictions can make upgrading a boat’s power system even more challenging.
To address these challenges, Redodo introduces its 24V 125Ah Mini Bluetooth Self-Heating LiFePO₄ Trolling Motor Battery. Designed for 70–100 lb thrust trolling motors, it packs 3200Wh of energy into a compact design and features dual-mode self-heating, Bluetooth monitoring, and IP67 protection, helping anglers enjoy longer days on the water with a space-saving power setup and more convenient cold-weather charging preparation.

Full-Day 24V Trolling Power: More Energy, Less Space
For anglers planning a full day on the water, extra energy reserves mean more time at productive fishing spots without cutting a trip short.
With 125Ah of capacity and 3200Wh of energy, the battery provides 25% more capacity than a typical 24V 100Ah lithium battery, supporting extended trolling and demanding conditions. At a low-speed trolling draw of approximately 7A, it can deliver up to 18 hours of runtime, helping anglers spend more time fishing.
Measuring just 15.35 × 7.99 × 10 inches, the Mini packs more capacity into a smaller footprint. Its housing is approximately 16% smaller than a typical 24V 100Ah one, making it a small lithium battery option that frees up valuable space for other onboard equipment.

Weighing just 52.47 lb, this 24 volt trolling motor battery can replace two 12V AGM batteries wired in series for a 24V system. Compared with a two-battery Group 31 AGM bank weighing approximately 134 lb, it cuts more than 80 lb while eliminating series jumper wiring for simpler installation and maintenance. Its compact design also makes it a practical Minn Kota trolling motor battery upgrade for compatible 24V models.

Dual-Mode Heating for Cold-Weather Charging
For anglers in colder regions, freezing temperatures—32°F (0°C) or below—can trigger a lithium battery’s low-temperature charging protection, complicating pre-trip charging preparation.
Redodo’s dual-mode heating system supports charging preparation in ambient temperatures as low as -4°F (-20°C) by warming the cells before charging begins. Users can select either heating mode through the Redodo app:
- Plug-in Heating: Once a charger is connected, the system automatically detects the battery temperature. If the cells are below the set threshold (e.g., 5°C / 41°F), the battery uses external power from the charger to preheat the cells. Once they reach 50°F (10°C), charging begins automatically—no extra steps required.
- App Pre-heating: When the battery’s state of charge (SOC) is above 20%, users can activate self-heating through the Bluetooth-connected app, using the battery’s own energy to warm the cells in advance. For example, anglers can start pre-heating after a day on the water, before returning home to charge, helping reduce the wait once the charger is connected.
Together, these two modes give users the flexibility to match heating to their charging routine, minimizing cold-weather delays.

Built for wet marine environments, the battery also offers IP67 dust and water protection. Its built-in 15A battery management system (BMS) safeguards against overcurrent, short circuits, overvoltage, undervoltage and temperature-related risks for dependable everyday marine power.
Smart Bluetooth Monitoring: Know Your Power, Plan Your Day
Knowing how much power remains is especially useful during long fishing trips, when rising winds and currents can increase motor demand.
The new battery’s built-in Bluetooth 5.0 lets users check SOC, voltage, current and battery status in real time through a smartphone app. Instead of estimating remaining capacity from voltage readings alone, anglers can monitor their battery directly and plan their time on the water with greater confidence.

From Fishing to Off-Grid Living: Built for More Outdoor Power Needs
Beyond 70–100 lb thrust trolling motors, the Redodo 24V 125Ah Mini also supports marine house power, RV electrical systems and off-grid energy storage. With support for up to two batteries in series and four in parallel, the system can expand to 51.2V 500Ah, providing 25.6kWh of storage.
For other cold-weather outdoor applications, Redodo’s self-heating lifepo4 battery lineup includes a 12V 100Ah battery for RV, marine and off-grid use, plus 12V 100Ah Group 27 and 12V 165Ah Group 31 dual-purpose batteries that combine marine starting and deep-cycle power.
From early-morning fishing trips to cold-season RV travel, Redodo continues to advance its “Go Light” philosophy with lighter, smarter lithium battery solutions—helping users carry less, simplify their power setup and explore farther.
